This shovel is metal-detectable which helps in the prevention of contamination of products. The are small metal fragments embedded in the polypropylene used to produce the shovel. This allows for any breakage that occurs while handling materials to be detected by a metal detector. The shovel is also reinforced with an aluminium frame.
