The ChemDefend® 200 range of protective coveralls are constructed from a microporous polyethylene barrier film, glued to a spunbonded polypropylene structural layer. This provides a strong and breathable material, with excellent repellency of liquid chemicals. The material is coated with an electrostatic dissipative layer.
ChemDefend 200® range material is soft and quiet. The coverall is constructed to offer optimum body fit, with generous use of fabric in the underarms, chest and waist, which allows comfortable and unrestricted freedom of movement.
The garment incorporates a number of key design features to assist in maximising protection, comfort and strength and to ease the donning and doffing process.
The garment is based on an internally stitched seam, but in key parts of the coverall uses a sealed seam, bound with a barrier material. This further enhances the strength and liquid repellency of the coverall.
ChemDefend 200® material conforms to EN14126:2003 but the stitched seams do not provide a barrier to bacteria, virus and blood borne pathogens.
